Understanding when and how you're billed helps you budget for your website expenses and avoid any surprises.
Monthly vs. Annual Billing #
When you sign up, you choose between two billing frequencies:
- Monthly billing: You're charged once every 30 days.
- Annual billing: You're charged once a year, upfront, and save 20% compared to paying monthly.
Both options include the same features for your chosen plan tier.
When Charges Occur #
Charges are processed automatically on your renewal date, which is the same day of the month (or year) as your original purchase date. If you signed up on the 14th, your monthly renewals process on the 14th of each following month.
Finding Your Next Renewal Date #
- Log into my.apexmanagedhosting.com.
- Go to Billing > Subscriptions.
- Your active plan will display a Next Billing Date field.
Switching From Monthly to Annual to Save 20% #
- Go to Billing > Subscriptions in your portal.
- Click Manage Plan next to your active hosting plan.
- Select Switch to Annual Billing.
- Review the prorated amount shown and confirm.
Your renewal date will then shift to an annual cycle going forward.
Automatic Renewal and How to Disable It #
By default, all plans renew automatically using the payment method on file. To disable auto-renewal:
- Go to Billing > Subscriptions.
- Click Manage Plan.
- Toggle Auto-Renewal off.
We recommend leaving auto-renewal on and simply keeping your payment method up to date instead.
