Troubleshooting Common LatePoint Issues

1 min read

Booking Form Not Showing on the Page #

  • Make sure the LatePoint plugin is active under WordPress > Plugins.
  • Clear your site cache (Apex managed panel + any caching plugin).
  • If using a shortcode, confirm it is in a Shortcode block, not a Paragraph block.

Clients Not Receiving Confirmation Emails #

  • Check your spam/junk folder first.
  • Go to LatePoint > Notifications and confirm the confirmation email is enabled.
  • Your site’s default WordPress mailer may be unreliable — contact Apex support to set up SMTP email delivery.

Appointments Not Appearing on Google Calendar #

  • Go to LatePoint > Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar and reconnect your account.
  • Confirm the Google Calendar API is enabled in your Google Cloud Console.
  • Check that the correct calendar is selected in the sync settings.

Payment Not Processing #

  • Go to LatePoint > Settings > Payments and confirm your Stripe or PayPal connection is active.
  • In Stripe Dashboard, check if the payment shows as failed and review the failure reason.
  • Confirm the service has a price set (a $0 service bypasses payment).

Time Slots Showing as Unavailable #

  • Go to LatePoint > Agents > [Agent] > Work Schedules and confirm the correct hours are set.
  • Check for any Special Days or Blocks covering the date.
  • Make sure Minimum Time Before Booking in Settings is not blocking near-future slots.

Double Bookings Occurring #

  • Go to LatePoint > Settings > Booking and confirm Prevent Double Bookings is enabled.
  • If using multiple agents, make sure each agent’s schedule is set correctly.
