Getting Started with Apex Scheduling and LatePoint

1 min read

Apex Scheduling is powered by LatePoint Pro — a professional appointment booking system built directly into your WordPress site. This guide walks you through everything you need to get up and running.

What Is LatePoint? #

LatePoint is a WordPress plugin that gives your business a fully branded online booking experience. Clients can schedule appointments, make payments, and receive automatic reminders — all without any back-and-forth emails or phone calls.

Accessing Your LatePoint Dashboard #

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin at yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
  2. In the left menu, click LatePoint.
  3. The dashboard shows your upcoming appointments, revenue, and customer activity at a glance.

Initial Setup Checklist #

Before taking your first booking, complete these steps:

  • Add your services (see: How to Add and Configure Services in LatePoint)
  • Set your working hours (see: How to Set Your Availability and Working Hours)
  • Connect a payment method (see: How to Accept Payments Through LatePoint)
  • Add your booking form to a page (see: How to Add a Booking Form to Your Website)
  • Test a booking from the customer’s perspective

Your Booking Page URL #

By default, LatePoint creates a booking page at yourdomain.com/booking. You can customize this URL under LatePoint > Settings > General.
