With the Google Calendar add-on (included in your Apex Scheduling plan), appointments sync automatically between LatePoint and your Google Calendar.
Setting Up the Connection #
- Go to LatePoint > Add-ons and confirm the Google Calendar add-on is active.
- Go to LatePoint > Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar.
- Click Connect Google Account and sign in with your Google account.
- Grant the requested calendar permissions.
- Select which Google Calendar to sync appointments to.
- Click Save.
How the Sync Works #
- When a client books, the appointment is automatically added to your Google Calendar.
- When an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled in LatePoint, the Google Calendar event updates automatically.
- Clients receive a Google Calendar invitation if you enable that option in notification settings.
Syncing Multiple Agents #
Each agent can connect their own Google Calendar: go to LatePoint > Agents, click the agent, and under the Google Calendar tab have them connect their account.
Troubleshooting Sync Issues #
- If events stop syncing, go to LatePoint > Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar and reconnect the account.
- Make sure the Google Calendar API is enabled in your Google Cloud Console project.
- Contact Apex support if reconnecting does not resolve the issue.
