The terms, in plain language
$50 minimum payout
Balances are paid once they reach $50. Anything below that rolls over to the next payout rather than expiring.
Bank transfer or PayPal
You choose which. Payout details are set on your affiliate account and can be changed at any time.
30-day tracking window
The referral is credited to you if the customer buys within 30 days of first clicking your link.

Every application is approved manually. We are looking at how you plan to promote, not at how big your audience is.

How is my commission calculated?
20% of what the customer actually pays, after any discount or coupon. It is not a percentage of a list price.
What is the difference between a monthly and an annual referral?
On a monthly subscription you earn 20% of each of the customer's first three payments. On an annual plan you earn a one-time 20% of the annual payment, which is a larger single commission because the customer has paid for twelve months up front.
Do I keep earning after three months?
No. Commission on monthly subscriptions is capped at the first three payments, and an annual referral pays once on the annual payment. We would rather say that plainly here than have you find it in a dashboard later.
When do I get paid?
Once your balance reaches $50, by bank transfer or PayPal, whichever you have set on your affiliate account. Balances under $50 roll over.
How long do I have to convert a click?
30 days. If someone clicks your link and buys within that window, the referral is credited to you.
Is approval automatic?
No. Applications are reviewed by a person. We are mainly checking how you intend to promote Apex — we do not run paid search on our own brand terms and we do not want affiliates doing it either.
Do I have to disclose that I earn a commission?
Yes. If you recommend Apex and stand to earn from it, that relationship has to be disclosed clearly wherever you post the link. This is a legal requirement in the US under the FTC's endorsement rules, not just a house style preference.
What happens if a referral refunds?
The commission is reversed. Commission is only earned on payments we keep.
